If this is the lifestyle that they have both agreed upon,absolutley
She would of went into the marriage knowing what to expect.
But this lifestyle needs to be talked about and agreed upon by both partys. The husband would have no right to just start hitting his wife without her knowing that this would be the outcome of bad behavior. Then I would say that was abuse.

Well does a wife have the right to spank her husband because he's misbehaved?NO it is not right .One of the most important things in a marriage is respect,both people are adults and deserve to be treated like one.

Depends. In a playful way, or a real way? I dont think it would be effective in a real sort of way. For children is is useful because they cannot reason things out (try telling a one-year old the oven is too hot to touch). With adults, they can reason things out, and I think that would be more effective in changing behaviors than spanking.

If she's into being spanked, and the 'punishment' element is just part of the play, that's fine. But spanking, I reckon, is pretty useless as a way of resolving genuine disputes between partners.
But then again, couples who practise DD (Domestic Discipline) say it really works for them as a way of resolving disputes. So who knows?
