I've only heard this song twice & have never been able to nail it down. It came out two years ago. It features William Shattner speaking about a rich foreign girl who asked him to tell her "what it's like to live as common people do".

Are you sure? 'Common People' by Pulp was about that topic (girl from Greece with a thirst for knowledge) but it may have been covered and included William Shatner, though I haven't heard of that.

It is that pulp Song I think. Shattner will cover anything.
