How do I get dowload free music into a MP3 player?

I want to download gospel songs into a MP3 player but have NO IDEA how to do it!! IS MP3 the same as ITunes/Ipod?

Itunes will only respond to an ipod, i suggest finding the songs location on your computer, right click it and go to open with... select a program that you can use your mp3 with.
