It is very possible to get your period at 10, but that may still be a little young. I got mine when I was 12, almost 13. My niece was 12 or 13 also. Don't worry, you'll get it!!

I assume you are a virgin, being that you are 10. Without a period, it's also a sign of being pregnant. If you have been raped, please see your school counselor and tell your parents immediately. A person at your age is not old enough to consent to sex with anyone; thus, we call it rape.
If this does not concern you, please be patient. As other users noted, you are still young. In fact, as you get older, the period thing may annoy you. When I first got mine, it destroyed my mother's car. If it makes you feel any better, buy Always Pantyliners at Target. They cost .94 cents or something like that.

What do you mean with all the signs?? Either you have you period or not but there isn't any in-between. Better ask your mom for advice than anyone on here.

Dont worry. I didnt get my period til I was 13. Some people take longer. Its normal.

When it arrives, you'll know. Don't be so eager to get it--it's not that big of deal, and you're going to have to mess with it for the next 40+ years! Believe me, it will come on when you least want it to, and it's a pain! ;)

Don't be afraid to talk to your mom. She is your friend Trust...... these are strangers, she won't tell you anything but the truth. And she probably knows way more than us!! LOL If you are shy write her a letter, leave it on her dresser. She will appreciate you coming to her........

relax you still have a few years (hopefully) although some girls go through puberty early the average is about 13-19 to start your period. don't rush it.

i was in the same situation as you whwn i was ten. i had all of the signs, but my period didnt come until i was 14. so just wait it out. it will come sooner or later. and beleive me, when it does come, youll know.
