I don't like it as most of the animals aren't treated well. And besides, I think the fur looks better on it's original wearer. Another point is that those that wear fur for warmth (eskimoes, inuit (sp) ) wear the fur on the INSIDE not the OUTSIDE. It's warmer that way. So the whole thing about it being warm is bunk. It's a fashion statement to signify wealth and prosperity. Kind of concieted and arrogant, I think personally.

I don't really think fur is needed, we are not living in the olden days and stuff so you can use fur to keep warm you know. I personally believe that it is gross to wear dead animals on you, so I wouldn't wear fur or leather. The are many options to fur, like fake fur. But I wouldn't judge a person because he or se wears it, you pretty much have to follow your own beliefs and stuff. I mean, my mom wears fur! But I guess once most of the animals on the eath become extinct, the fur industry will change there mind about skinning helpless animals for fashion.

I would only wear fake fur , unless it was an heirloom (like my grandmas fox fur wrap thing ) I wouldn't wear it because someone would toss red paint on it , so maybe just save it as an era that is hopefully becoming instinct .

Its just not necessary in this day in age .

If your living off the land that's one thing .
you most likely need that fur meat and hide to survive , none should go to waste .

There's just no good reason for someone who can afford to buy regular cloths to be walking around with a real fur to make a statement ..

Smart, they realize that animal furs are the best way to stay warm. Humans have been wearing furs from the beginning of human history.

The little buggers are mean and nasty anyway...I have no problem with commercially produced furs.

Trust me, if any of those PETA freaks out there ever met a Mink or whatever...they'd quickly change their tune....Those animals are nasty, stinky, mean...nothing nice I can say about them.

I myself don't wear fur or anything made out of animals but I cannot pass judgement on people for wearing fur because I think everone has the right to do what they please. If something is not right for you doesn't mean its wrong for everyone else.

I think it's stupid.

But i also think that the people who protest and throw blood on the people who wear fur should go after the rap stars who are proud of the dead animal that is on their backs and throw blood on them. I think that would be very interesting and something I want to see.

I think it would be a sin to buy a new fur or leather coat, but not to recycle old fur or leather. Who would want to wear anything that had a face??!!

People who wear fur are immoral ans insensitve to the cruelties that those animals have to go through for them to wear that coat or fleece
