Surf a tsunami wave from Los Angeles to Hawaii? I got enough problems paddling a double hulled canoe from the Ala Wai Canal out to the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor... maybe a half mile at the most!!!

it is impossible tsunamis are so big in the middle of the ocean that you wouldn't even notice once it has passed

no... waves get big only when over shallow locations.... middle of ocean is too deep.
