good thing i saw your post, I'm like almost profesional with make-up!
Foundation: find a light color that is exzactly the same color as your skin tone. Liquid foundation is the best to have. Loose powders clump and make your tone look fake.
Eyeliner: A navy blue will look really pretty on your skin. apply it lightly under your eyes and 3/4s on the upper lid, closest to your nose. Blue against blue eyes actually makes it pop.
Shadow: Try a hue of blue. Now in your cosmetics isle there is a new package for blue eyed girls. Try wal-mart, they have plenty.
Mascara: Try to volumize your lashes. For long lasting volume, apply a volumizing mascara no your upper lashes. Then wait 20 seconds and curl them. Then curl them again. This will make your eyes really look big and beautiful.
Lips: Try a light pink. First line your lips with clear lip liner. Colored lip liner leaves a the line around your lips when the lipstick comes off. Make sure you get a glossy lipstick so your lips won't look dry!
EXTRA TIP: If you want glossy lids, apply an eyelid gloss. Another sharp way to spice up your look is taking a shimmer powder and apply it right under your brow bone (the outside of your eyebrow)
This should help you alot! I know all of this becuase I am a make-up experimenter on other people. I put their make-up on, and take a picture for modeling. Good luck!

use light colors, blue mascara for the eyes, light pink lipstick, maybe some powder for the face.
When your hair is dirtyblonde, you should try blonde highlights.

You sound young, but I could be wrong. I'm guessing the date is at night. Wear foundation, blush, brown mascara, brown eyeliner (but smudge to look natural) and shimmery earthy brown/pink eyeshadow. Make sure you set your foundation with powder so that it lasts longer. Make a fishy face and apply the blush on your cheekbones. Don't go overboard on the blush though, you don't want to look like a clown- just a nice flushed/dewy look. Also wear a pink lipgloss (not too bright, try to make your lip's natural color, but the gloss with make it nice and shimmery yet natural) The brown eyeshadow will make the blue in your eyes stand out and the pink eyeshadow will add a nice shimmer on your eyelids. Good luck on your first date... remember to be yourself and have fun!!!

Eyes – Light earth tones and soft pastels such as blue, lavender and pink always look great.
Cheeks – Pink and peach are perfect especially if you have blonde hair.
Lashes – Stick to brown or brown/black.
Lips – Light, sheer lippie in various shades of pink adds the finishing touch.

I would go with a lite cote of foundation with some finishing powder to hold the foundation in place then for the eyes I would go with a champain color and brown mascara for the lips go with something glossy and shear then put on a some pink blush to show off your cheek bones.

The best way to find out what works for you is to have a facial. Get a free cosmetic facial. Either at the mall or track down a Mary
Kay [MaryKay.com] consultant and get a free facial and he/she can show you what works best with your coloring.
No matter where you go and as long as it's free you should find the answer you seek. Good Luck

Try BareMinerals..it's expensive but it's the only make up I'll ever use again...a little goes a long ways and it's this lightweight powder that actually covers it! However, it's about $30 for a pot of it...

Sounds like me, except I have green eyes, I like to match my eye makeup to my eyes. Try Almay's line for blue eyes. If you go dramatic on the eyes keep your lips natural. Good luck.
