could we then "Heat the whole outdoors"? (Like my momalways said we couldnt)

That would suck because I live in Houston and we're still wearing shorts in the middle of December. So please don't do it.
I did hear growing up that if I left the front door open I was air conditioning the whole neighborhood. And did you know that if you leave the fridge open you'll refrigerate the whole street?

To a small degree you would. Meteorologists talk of cities and other urban environments being "heat islands", due in part to the direct heating from all the fossil fuels being burned there, but also due to all the concrete and asphalt absorbing more of the sun's rays, and also the deadly ozone and other pollutants causing a local greenhouse effect. This usually amounts to at most a 2 degree difference, so when it's minus 10 in downtown Minneapolis, it's minus 12 in the suburbs. Still pretty cold.

well, it would certainly give the newspeepz something to talk about, if not. :D

but even if it did... how could you tell? we don't have any gadgets nifty enough to tell if it was natural or because of this action, because the change would likely be only a degree or three.

Way too much atmosphere to warm...nice try if it would work i would not be mad.....I am a warm weather person.
