It depends on what you mean by "throw up". If it dribbles out of her mouth and doesn't seem to bother her, then it's normal no matter *how* often it is. If she seems to be in pain as a result of it, then see your doctor; it may be reflux. And if it shoots across the room, it is probably also the sign of a problem--again, see your doctor.

First question is, does your baby throw up after a feeding? Next question, does your baby throw unexpectedly during the day? Next question, how long has this been going on?
You should be discussing this with your helath provider, if you do not have a relationship with a health provider, get one going asap. You can contact your local state helth dept about applying for medicaid / state heath insurance and also see about a 24 hour ask a nurse help line, also connect with other women who have babies, pickup some good books on babies.
Another response indicated cutting out spicy foods, alcohol, smoking, drugs, etc. The most important thing to remeber is that what ever you take into your body is being shared with your baby, so keep it healthy, and call a doctor right away, that is the best way to get the best advice.

definite it does get extra ideal. It is going in spurts! I easily have purely gotten my 10 week previous to sleep after 8 definite 8 hours of very nearly continuous nursing besides the undeniable fact that that is worth it. she will be able to pass about 2 weeks of nursing each and every a million.5-2 hours daylight hours and three-4 hours at evening, as a lot as 0.5-hour frequently as a lot as ten though. I easily have got here across when I take her out (sit which includes her at her fathers artwork) she will be able to pass 4 hours in the course of the day besides, i imagine alot of that is convenience nursing ((nice by me... lots of the time LOL)) yet each and every 2-3 weeks (4, 6, NOW) she is going 2-3 days of nursing always. i trust tonight has been the ""worst"" ever! they say the first 3 months they feed the most, after that it pretty a lot settles down! solid success! i'm prepared to do something now to circumvent switching to formula! no longer a drop yet!! (((*at 6 weeks once she nursed for a total 2 HOURS, I watched an total action picture beforehand she got here off the breast. LOL yet as an advantage, after both-3 days of better feeding I easily have discovered that she typically has about 2 days the position she sleeps sleeps sleeps... i wish i'm getting that right here quickly!!!)))

Sure, it is okay. Babies throw up a lot. After the first month, after they have stopped losing their initial birthweight, make sure that the baby is gaining weight.
Don't worry that the baby doesn't go to the bathroom so much. It is probably normal for breast-fed babies. It may be normal for the baby and if he is not uncomfortable, don't worry about it.
The best thing for your baby is breast-feeding. Don't worry, don't give up and smile with your baby for the best bonding experience ever!
Best of luck to you!

That's not normal...she may have reflux..dont' stop breastfeeding - formula will only make it worse...breastmilk is the easiest for them to digest...make sure you are burping her after each breast...try to cut out foods from your diet that may be irritating her stomach - citrus, tomato, spicy foods, etc..try to eat blander food and avoid milk products as well...no raw veggies either...try just plain food for a week - like plain pasta, plain rice and baked chicken, stuff like that, see if it makes a difference. If not, I would contact your pediatrician because she probably has reflux.

It depends is she actually vomit ting or spitting up? If she is only spitting up a couple times a day I would say that is normal, however is she is vomit is projecting out of her mouth with force than you need to contact your pediatrician. The vomit ting could be a sign of acid reflux. My daughter was treated for acid reflux with Zantac and now she is 8 months old and doing fine.

I would say yes its ok. My son is bottle fed and he spits up at least one time after every feeding. The docs say its ok unless theyre not getting enough to eat. If they loss weight or if the soft spot on their head starts to sink in that means their not getting enough. But mostly all babies spit up

If she's throwing up, you should call your doctor. If she's spitting up, it's fine (~1-2 tbsp). You may want to try some Mylicon to help get rid of her gas bubble. A lot of babies have GERD, so your doctor may prescribe baby Zantac. Either way, if you're worried, call your doctor.

Do you mean throwing up or spitting up? She may have a gas bubble behind the milk or is greedy & drinking too fast. let her nurse for 5 minutes, then take her off the breast & let her wait a bit or burp her. Spitting up is normal.
