You'd have to be very careful, because you might get lynched. People would confuse technology with performing witchcraft. It would have to be something to improve farming techniques, that way you could help people. Penicillin was a great answer, also.

So you guys bring your guns huh... What happens when your magazine runs out. Not a smart choice. People bringing cell phones, who are you going to call? No electricity 200 yrs ago.

Bring an encyclopedia or something useful.

Wow, this is tough! You said item, therefore, people are not allowed.

How about a Car with a full tank of gas! Yep, that's my choice.
Can you imagine people seeing something like that? wow, they would put you away! lol Even after it ran out of gas it would still be the talk of the town...lol

I would definitely want to take something that people would look at and go "Wow, what is that?" A car would do that.

a letter of warning with proofs for all the Native Americans detailing soon to be upcoming events. Then I'd go looking for Sacajawea. That ought to make things a little more interesting for Lewis and Clark!

a book of every score of every game if it was only about 75 years back but for 200 years i wood bring a social studies book to save people from dying in wars and stuff

A history of the 20th century with colour photos. I would show them the pinnacle of Western Civilization and the awful destruction that goes hand i hand with our glorious rise. That way-perhaps we could avert some of the terrible things like Hiroshima, The Somme, The Holocaust.

Books: my Book of Mormon, my King James Bible, children's books with color pictures, I hope you get the picture!! 200 years ago, most people did not know how to read, and even those who could read usually couldn't afford to buy books, with many areas lacking any kind of 'bound materials'

A super detailed history book that gave specific locations, names, details, numbers, and the like.

This would allow me to be considered psychic and all knowing to those around me.

I would bring back my boyfriend ause I cant live without him. He is always there for me and with me. I just cant let go of him. I love him way too much!!!! But, there never too much love between one another!

knowledge... the knowledge of what we have done with our planet in the last 200 years and knowledge of alternative methods of industrial development, medicine and more that could be used without so much harm!
