Has anyone ever had the mother in law from hell ? I have. She told me, that she was going to take my husband away from me. And she did. She has one step grandson, and two biological grand sons. She likes one better then the others and tells them. She showed my 4 year old how to light a match ! But when I would complain about her, my husband would get angry with me. Never believeing me. He is a truck driver, and when I was pregnant she would tell me that he might never come back. That maybe he has other women around the country. And I would say he's my husband, and she would say, but I am his mother, and he will always believe me! Has anyone else ever been through anything like this?

My mother in law is a widow and has been since my husband was 7. She has been jealous of every woman he's ever been with. We've been married for 14 years and he's just now realizing she is manipulative and poison to our marriage. Now that he's realized this and we are working together to take care of her (she's in her 70's) I am able to be nicer to her and care more for her despite herself. But I know what you mean. First he had to choose me as the number one woman in his life.
By the way, I have two sons and I know what's normal and what's not. She was not.

YES. My soon to be mother in law has accused me of stealing money from her. She went to my stylist , my neighbors and my job telling lies. She calls my fiance's ex-wife and tells her all the time I keep her son from her.( he is 40 years old and has his own mind). She tells me her son could do so much better than me. She has had my power disconnected by calling and pretending to be me. She tells everyone she knows that I am having an affair with my ex husband and has banned me from my step kids birthday parties. She has helped my fiance's ex-wife garnish his pay for support of a child who is not his. She is Satan incarnate.

hmm we maybe had the same mother in law.. Wow I thought i was the only one with one like that. Lucky for me I am divorced and I am married to a man whos mother not only lives in another state but who is the sweetest woman I have ever known next to my own mother.SO good luck to you.

ignore her dont let her come beetween you and your man as for your son dont let him around her that will solve it tell her your busy and make excuses not to be around her im going through the same thing with my husbands grandmother shes so evil god forgive me but you cant imagine dont let your husband know how you feel hes in the middle and im sure feels bad kill her with kindness and when she tells you hes going to leave say oh well what can I do life goes on when she says what shes going to tell him say well if thats going to make you feel better then go ahead.

I don't have any problems with my mother in law. She's doing 20 to life.

yes. my monster-in-law refused to babysit or visit when her son (my husband) was in IRAQ. she was always too busy for me and my then 2 yr old. oh but all of a sudden we're getting invited places why??? because the hubby is back. oh i can't stand it. sorry for you too!
