one place you can check out is Queensway Shopping Centre (diagonally opposite IKEA at Alexandra Road). In this old building, there are many shops selling sports apparels / shoes / equipment, T-shirts, streetwear for students, even school uniforms.
For the branded trackshoes, check out the prices first and you may even be able to find a bargain.
