Carson Palmer, without question. Reasons? Well how about Chad johnson, T.J. Housmandzadeh, chris henry, etc. Brady is a fine qb, but not many weapons left for him to use with the loss of 2 of his top targets through free agency, plus the fact that Cinncinnatti has a schedule that features weaker defensive teams .

Troubvle is you might not know if he (Palmer) is healthy by the time you draft, so dont undestimate the potential downside of Palmer. Brady will likely put up good numbers again this yr and he is as close to a sure bet as you can get, so unless you hear for sure that Palmer is going to open the season, I'd take Brady because it will be a LONG season for you if your star QB cant play.

Tough one....but if he's healthy; I would say Palmer due to the fact that he has major weapons to throw to. Brady is still a good choice. I would rank them....Palmer at #2; Brady at #3....and of course Peyton Manning at the top of the list.

CARSON PALMER. I hate drafting players who you know are hurt though. But they're saying he's gonna be good to go by the beginning of the season. It would't be a bad pick (and would actually be the safe pick) to take Brady either though because yo know he's gonna throw for 4,000yds and throw 25 TD's. Palmer has more potential to go for 30-35 TD's.
I WOULD ROLL THE DICE AND GO PALMER!!!

Brady, Palmer's injury is a 12 month injury which would be around December for total recovery time.

I would take Brady. If you look in fantasy magazines you would see that Brady was in the top 5 fantasy scorers plus you dont know if the injury to palmer wil hurt his fantasy numbers. You know that Brady will not get hurt and you know that he will put up solid numbers.

DON'T TAKE EITHER.....
There is too much value later in the draft at QB for you to waste a 3rd round pick (which you will likely have to do) on either of these guys.
That is especially true if you're holding your draft anytime soon.
Palmer could put up good numbers, BUT his injury status is a major concern. I'm not putting much faith in the reports that say his recovery is ahead. Its just too early to know for sure.
And Brady has lost another couple of WRs. I'd still like to see him work with these guys a bit in pre-season before I commit to him.
Bottom line is, if you have to spend a 3rd or 4th rounder, you might as well sure up your RB or WR positions and wait 'till round 6-8 to grab a starting QB.

Yeah, I think Palmer is the way to go... if he didn't have that damn knee injury; this would not be in debate. Brady is a stud though too.

Brady,
You have to expect him to be the healthier guy .
Palmer may have better upside but knees are not easy recoveries.
I would be safe and get Brady. 3 superbowl rings beats one NCAA heisman!

I would take Palmer because if he is back healthy he will do way better than Brady maybe even better than Manning and if it is a keeper league i would definitely take Pamer
