This week, the Twins and the Pale Hose are jockeying for position in the Wild Card race.
Many people at first said that this rivalry was pure hype, but now this rivalry is picking up steam on both sides.
At the Mall Of America, where anti Packer t-shirts are plastered everywhere, anti White Sox t-shirts are starting to pop up.
Same in Chicago stores with anti-Twins t-shirts.
Do some of you think this rivalry is finally for real?

No. The White Sox only rival is the Cubs. People in MN hate the white sox because everyone hates a winner!

I think it's a rivalry right now.....the Twins are breathing down the White Sox's neck for the Wild Card. Liriano and Santana are the real deal, and they are getting more consistent pitching from Brad Radke as he's won his last 4 decisions. The White Sox should be afraid because the Twins have been playing well the last couple of months, so this has the makings of a great rivalry for this year and beyond. This series should be fun.....

No the White Sox - Twins rivalry will be over in a week. And the White Sox will move on to their next "rivalry". White Sox have no rivalry so they constantly keep switching who they hate.

Well, I don’t know if it is a rivalry just yet... Wasn't it the Indians who were both of these teams’ rivals at one point these past couple years? In order for a rivalry to exist I think the same two teams need to compete on a constant basis. Rivalry?... I don’t know about that... I do know that every Twin fan should be bowing and kissing the toes of Pierzynski. I mean Liriano, and Nathan for him?! And they had Mauer in their back pocket when they made that trade. What I do know is that The Giants are idiots!

i wish Twins!!!!!!!! it is truly hard to assert. the Sox look hitting the balls contained in the gaps and that is what doing it for them, besides the undeniable fact that the Twins' bullpen will with any success pull by and extremely last plenty longer than the Sox's will. it is surely an exhilarating conflict, stressful at cases, yet though thrilling. Ah i love baseball.

I think they just hate eachother cuz they always threaten eachother for the AL Central but I don't think its a true rivalry.

If it is for real, it is only in the minds of the whinny sux. (who will lie cheat and steal anything to win).
The southside crybabies will try to use this to thier advantage (since thier pitching has gone south too).
Dont believe a word of it, Twins...just go out there and show them who is for real!
and watch out for aj...he will try to upset you his bullyness and lying.
