I think that most people do but won't admit it. Since you are anonymous here, can you be honest with yourself and admit it?

I have prejudices. Every now and then one of my prejudices slaps in the face when I realize it's there.
I can only work on recognising my own prejudices when they arise in me, and try not to act on them.

Sadly, everyone has prejudices whether they like to admit or not. Some try to be self-rightous, while others exploit their prejudices for their own gain. I will have to say I have prejudices but not on religious or racial grounds, but towards gay marriages and related issues. And yes I am very ashame to admit I have a prejudice towards people who chose alternative lifestyles. I am working towards eradicating this prejudice that was inbred to me since childhood. Our opinions are normally influence by our environment.

Anyone who says they are absolutely prejudiced against no one is LYING. Everyone is prejudiced against something/someone. It's just a matter of degree and how far you willing to go that may be a problem. But you have to distinguish between prejudice (meaning judging without adequate information) and being able to formulate a theory based on a pattern - meaning if something is true that doesn't make you prejudice/racist.

It's human nature to be this way ... we just have to fight it. Kind of like road rage :) lol ..... I try to have empathy for all people, and rather than be prejudice against people, I turn my nose up to the offensive action being performed. Not all people of any group are bad, nor are they good. But we're all in this thing called life together. Better make the best of it!

But to be honest, my biggest pet peeve (in my area anyway), is the way black people drive!!!!!!!! Most women too ... black or white.

I'm going straight to hell !!! lol .........

I'm very prejudice in my every day life and I truely believe everyone else is too. If they say they're not they aren't truely being honest with themselves. It's human nature to find fault in something that is different from yourself.

Okay, if I'm totally honest, then yes. I find myself prejudiced towards ignorant people. Particularly your typical southern backwoods type. I'm from the South and I fear being associated with that sort. I don't mean someone just from the south, but the really trashy, redneck stuff you always see on T.V. The ones Jeff Foxworthy makes fun of. So please don't misunderstand and think I dislike southerners because I am one, but it's just the loud, ignorant type.

Yes i can admit it here and in person. Its impossible for people to say they're truly not because even thought you may think you're not you are. and saying no is only lying to yourself and no one else.
