its called blossom end rot.....google that and youll get about a thousand ways to fight it.

Mine too, dammit! It's called blossom end rot, and it's caused by inconsistent watering and a lack of calcium. We had a ton of rain here for a while, and then a week of dry weather and I neglected to water mine. Water them daily - crush eggshells and soak them in the water overnight before watering.

try putting some calcium around each plant. Buy powdered calcium , tums, anything with calcium. Dilute in water and pour around the plant. What is black will stay black but the new growth should be ok. (about 4 rolaids or tums per plant) m

could be too much water. put them outside in the air and allow the air to circulate, also stand them in a pot with water rather than watering from above.
dpnt have them 2 near other plants cos they dont like that either!
