The oldest record I own was recorded in 1910 and yes it still plays. It is slate and recorded on only one side....Its Opera of course.

Columbia catalogue # J-263 78 RPM - - (I'm Gettin') Nuttin' for Christmas (flip sided with (Something Barked on Christmas Morning) by Ricky Zahnd and the Blue Jonses Undated - but were bought for my parents as children in the 30's. Also have a Vogue Picture Record BY Shep Fields and His Orchestra. Lots of strange things from past generations of the family. Rich people keep everything in storage in the attic just like in the movies.

Disco Donny Train by Donny Osmond and Shawn Cassidys first album and Leif Garrets first album.....all from the 70's.....still have my very first record player and once in awhile I get it out and listen to them....brings back some great memories from when I was a little kid

i have a bunch of old records my Aunt gave me. She is in her 60's and she had them as a teen. A bunch of Elvis records and sun records. Jerry lee Lewis I mean all that old stuff and I just save them.

My mama has all Elvys Presley collection .. From the 50's. My favorite song ?... You were always on my mind ... Beautiful ... But i guess that one was recorded on the 60's.
