Any menstrual bleeding in excess of seven days of duration is NOT in any way normal. By the way you express yourself, I gather that both you and your cousin are very young girls. The best your cousin can do is talk to her mother, father or both of them to get her to a doctor so she can receive appropriate medical treatment.

No it isn't normal to have a period for a month. there could be many things that are causing this. Stress, birth control pills are just a few. See if there is a clinic that will check her out in the area. Most of the time they are free or a low fee for the cost. It is important that she get checked out. Good luck.

It is not normal some states have a free clinic for those who can't afford to pay or have no insurance there are several things that could cause this i would definitly get her to a dr or even the ER sounds like she could have endometriosis or pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome)

Wait...have you never had a period?? I mean if you are pregnant then you've had a period before so how are you not able to help? You're a woman so duh logical thinking would be to see a gyno about it. There are clinics where you don't have to have insurance or money to get checked. Its not going to be the best treatment but it can help out.

you need to go to the health clinic in your area. most the time it is free if you dont have an income. it is not good to just keep bleeding.

Have her parents take her to the E.R. to be seen by a Doctor. they have to see her, it doesn't matter if she can pay or not.
