I feel It doesn't matter because whether it's a big or small town, rumors are bound to spread. I live in Dallas TX and it's kind of big and rumors spread and everyone knows everybody. The World is a small place.

Well as I graduated from a high school that had almost 400 kids in it's graduating class....I can tell you that it doesn't matter. If two people know a secret it's one to many. No matter the size of the school. The only difference is of course that in a larger town it's probably less likely that kids will go home and tell their parents leading EVERYONE in town to be talking about you....but the whole school...yeah..that's gonna happen.

Coming from a small town high school...I would have to say yes they tend to spread rumors more often than larger city high schools

yes. smaller town more people willing to listen. big city, happens but most people really don't care.
