I love Pirates of the Carribean 2 waaaaaaaaay better but both were really good! Oh and Johnny and Orlando are sooooooooo hot!!!!

I like Pirates 2 because Johnny and Orlando were much more comical and it had ALOT more action (sword fighting)
I liked the bad guys better in 1 the bad guys in 2 were just plain creapy.

The curse of the black pearl was a lot better than the second. I am a huge Pirates fan and an even bigger Johnny Depp fan and I'm the first to admit that there was nothing special about the second movie. The plot was not at all well developed. The directing also didn't do much to make the film shine as much as the first. The jokes were basically the same as the first, not an ounce of originality in the lyrics and it seemed to me that they just tried way too hard to make it entertaining.The acting wasn't particularly fantastic save for Johnny Depp's performance and the most obvious flaw probably is the fact that this one didn't end. It's a linking movie that was left incomplete.

1 was better because it was a complete movie. #2 ends abruptly, setting up the 3rd movie, but there is no good conclusion.
