well... i guess i would confront her on the problem and try to talk to her about my problem. I would make sure to explain to her before i told her the prob. that we couldn't yell/shout/scream and that we had to have open minds. after talking to her about it i would try to reach a mutual agreement. when you're talking to her make sure you don't say anything that would hurt her feelings or put all the blame on her. If you do then she'll be more inclined do the same to you.

Well Miss Jessica heres some advice from a daddy..ALWAYS remember your mom is your mom and the one who bought you into this world..Bet shes been there and done that once before..Yes she may get mad and ramp and rave but thats what mom's are there for.. Its called love, and it shows that she does care..If you try to talk to her like a grown girl , I'll be you'll find out she has the answeer..You must have done something wrong to feel this way, but now its time to be a big girl and live up to it, and take that balling out no matter what it is..Honey I'm 65 and wish my mom was still here to ball me out...Your friend in Tennessee... ROB.. REMEMBER SHE LOVES YOU!!!

The ONLY way you can solve problems is to talk with her about the SPECIFIC issues you are having. Ask her to hear you out completely and then answer you. You'll be surprised how well that will work.

Hint: write every issue down that you want to discuss and don't vary at all from your list.

Try talking to a best friend first. Tell her/him about whatever probelms you have and maybe then you'll feel better about it and be more comfortable telling your mom how you feel. Personally, I think you should tell her sooner or later because no one loves you more than your parents. ^__^

I had. and have problems with my mother. She is unapproachable, and unencourageable.

I have two children, and I can't imagine a day where I wouldn't welcome their thought and opinions.

They are youngs still, but I give them freedom of choice, and expression. If something is bothering them, they tell me. If I have yelled at them (I am not perfect) they tell me that I hurt their feelings, etc...

Try talking to her. We as Mothers are not perfect, far from it really. Just be open and see what happens.

I say balls to the wall it. She's your MOM no matter what you tell her and how horrific it is she'll always be a part of your life. You can't get rid of it.
