its hard to find that girl when all i think about on the weekends is my little girl who stays with me!i wook full time in the week so weekends are for my little one!anyone in the same boat as me let me know:))

there are plenty of women who wouldn't mind that you have a daughter. It's just a matter of meeting the right one at the right time.

I spent many years bringing up my children alone, and I honestly believed I would never meet the right person (met a few wrong ones who didn't accept the kids so they were kicked into touch!). I met someone a while back and instantly felt something for him. Turns out the feelings were mutual. He doesn't mind at all that I have children even though he has none of his own - he treats them like his own. I was cynical for a long time and he gave me hope and proved me wrong.
I am not single but offer you this little ray of hope and wish you all the best. Its lonely on your own but there is someone out there just right for you and your little girl :-) Good luck

You are runnin on guilty. When it gets low, or runs out, think about this - your kids are temporary! They are gonna leave you when they grow up and that is what they are s'posed to do. Unless you're a mexican (here, they all live at home until they are dead). So get a life and quit giving her permission to take it from you and then toss it back when its' too late. Personally, I am a kid magnet and would love to be with a guy I like even if he has a lil kid. You are just so controlled by her that you cannot think outside the box!

There are lots of women who don't mind kids. You can't judge someone because they have kids. I have a daughter but that doesn't mean my life is over and I don't want to have fun, I'm sure you're the same. You'll meet someone special, and if they can't cope with the fact you have a daughter, they're not the one for you.

Well, I am not single now, but when I was, I did not date a guy with kids.
Some of them lied, but I found out on the first date and that was all the time I wasted on them.
I did not want kids of my own, and I sure as hell did not want to raise someone else's. Especially with all the extra baggage of dealing with the Ex and all that drama.
But that is just me. Lots of women seem to want kids. My sister says my wiring is just off from normal. lol

A mature and loving woman will not mind at all that you have a daughter. In fact they will look at your daughter as another bonus in her dating you, another person for her to love and lavish attention on. There are good women out there, yes, some women won't want a child around at all, but there are many that would.

I know it is hard I am a single mom of two boys it can be hard to get time to meet someone or find someone who understands your situation but if they do not understand they are not for you. hang in there someone will come along and love you and your little girl

I very much admire you for putting your daughter first - not all single fathers...heck, parents altogther... are capable of this. Your choice of long-term partner is so crucial for her, the importance can't be overstated. It will affect her for the rest of her life, whether for the good or the bad, God willing the former. My advice to you is, be utterly ruthless if you think a woman is not suited to the job of step-parenting your daughter. When I say ruthless, I mean say bye-bye fast.

yep I have 3 children and I work full time, I also have my children full time. Their dads don't want anything to do with them. And I believe the more the better
