Occasionally there are some problems with the server. At some point it can even get hijacked by hackers! So some of you have probably experienced some difficulties in accessing the site. E-mail access has also been a bit spotty When the problem is spotted the provider sends apologies to anybody who has not been replied to
The servers are "case-sensitive". The providers sometimes attempt to change the URLs of all the pages into small letters. If, for some reason, a link does not seem to work, check if it accidentally retained capital letters somewhere in the URL. The less said the better about it. While typing the message the sender sometimes expects the recipient at the receiving end to be really at the receiving end. The capitalisation and the spelling is sometimes so irregular as to confounded even the best computer. They perhaps feel that computers are meant for spotting the irregularities and correct them. If only this could be possible as it would no doubt some day. To fix it, just input it in again in the browser address window and change all the capital letters into small letters
I did have some difficulty in accessing. At one time it was my computer which went on strike and would not talk to anyone robbing me an opportunity to call names to Yahoo. This aspect must also be borne in mind. At times the filure lies at our end.

I'm afraid Yahoo is suffering somewhat tonight. We can only hope it will be OK in the morning. You can tell that it is not your computer by the fact that other websites (and other webmails) are functioning correctly. Yahoo may either be having technical problems, or be suffering a Denial Of Service attack. Either way, there is nothing that you [or I] can do, but wait.
