Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named "Kennedy".
Kennedy was shot in a car called "Lincoln".

Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse.
Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the kicker....

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

I remember the list now, but not Lincoln having a secretary named Kennedy. I forget his personal secretary's name, but it definitely wasn't that. I'm not sure who his Secretary of State was, but I imagine it could easily be looked up.

Now the Marilyn Monroe thing.... she died almost two years before JFK. That would be just plain SICK!

Yes it's all true except the part about both being shot by southerners. I don't believe for one second that Lee Harvey Oswald shot the President. I do believe that in this particular case, a conspiracy exists. Very interesting question.

This is essentially a list of coincidences that mean absolutely nothing.

The one REALLY big falsehood always included in this list is that Lincoln DID NOT have a secretary named Kennedy. And no one told either of them NOT to make any trips to Texas or the theatre.

And Marlyn Monroe was dead LONG before Kennedy was shot.

You forgot the most important part...Lincoln spent his last night in Monroe, Maryland and Kennedy spent his last night in Marrilyn....sorry. That's how the joke goes anyway.

I love this stuff. It's so interesting, and yet so true. But if the Tecumseh curse [presidents elected in the year ending with a "0" die in office] was true, then George W..better watch out.
