I ordered one today and I got the regular ground shipping but it says it'll be here between 7/28 and 8/4.
I'm sorry, but even for average shipping that seems like a really long time just for a small little CD to get to your house.
I know sometimes stuff can arrive early.
So my question is, does it usually take that long or does it arrive 1-2 days earlier than said?

I have always had great success with BestBuy.com. I am guessing they say that so that in case there are issues with shipping an item, then they are covered.
If the item is backordered, that might also explain the delay. Plus, UPS Ground will take 5 days to deliver something cross country. So if that is who they are using, it really could take that many days to get to you.

I have and from what i remember, it seems as though the item arrived within the time specified (maybe a day earlier).
Next time, you might want to consider choosing an instore pickup- as long as the item is not on backorder, you'll usually wind up getting it in your hands sooner than opting to have it shipped.

They use the regular mail...not UPS or Federal Express, etc. That's why it takes so long. I've ordered from them before, and the cd's came faster than they said, but it was still pretty slow. But usually, the shipping is free, so I guess it's worth the wait.

I tried it once & it took 3 full weeks to receive a CD (ie. Much longer than they estimated). I mainly order from Amazon.com - They're much more reliable.
