It shouldn't, unless you have high blood pressure. Call your Gyno ASAP so he/she can check you up and give you proper treatment, if necessary. High blood pressure during pregnancy can get complicated and lead to a serious condition called Preeclampsia. This is characterized by uncontrolled high blood pressure, excretion of protein in the urine, and swelling of the extremities and face. It can lead to a potentially deadly condition called Eclampsia, which includes convulsions in addition to the aforementioned symptoms. However, these complications are most commonly encountered during the second and third trimesters of gestation; it's very rare to see cases during the first trimester, but it might happen. So, to be on the safe side, a call to your attending physician is in order, for both your own and your developing fetus' well-being. It could but swelling of the feet and hands can also be a sign of other things, you shouldn't be swelling this soon, ask your doctor.
