if Saudi lent on Syra (saudi have an economic hold on syra) and the USA lent on Israel, the whole crisis would be solved. however the USA seems reluctant to lean on Israel, Why is this the case.

if the US pulled their support of Israel what would happen? The same thing that happened in 1948 when Israel became a nation, every country in the region would jump on them.
What you people don't understand is that this is a war that has been going on for thousands of years. They all want the "Promised Land" and no amount of "leaning" will stop it. This conflict might stop but the ultimate goal of attaining this land will continue to rage on. They absolutely hate each other and will use whatever excuse (kidnapped soldiers) to stir up a fight. Blame Israel if you want but no matter what they do the US will always be behind them. (unless a bunch of godless liberals get elected)

Saudi Arabia can't lean on anybody.
They already have their hands full with a growing insurgecy of their own.
Saudi Arabia is run by a corrupt monarchy and their cronies.
The heirs apparent will be Taliban sympathetic Wahhabi rabble.

Your assumptions don't really reflect reality. Even if the US could convince Isreal to lay down arms, how would they get Isreal to ignore the incoming rockets?

All that aside. The Palestinians were JEALOUS of ISRAEL's BIRTHRIGHT, and HOW he ATAINED it from ABRAHAM. Enoch was also jealous, and joined in with Ishmael, the forfather of the Palestinians, to no avail. I think it best we let them all resolve everything on their own.
