OK, I know douching is bad for a woman, and so I just splash some water on my cooch in the shower (or use a little soap on the outside if it's that time of the month) and I feel totally fine. It smells like a vagina down there, which I have no problem with. It certainly doesn't smell or feel like it needs to be "freshened", and my bf has no problem with it either. Why do women use all these extra products to stay "fresh"? What exactly does "freshness" mean? I get the impression it means "flower scented from the sprays and wipes". What are your thoughts on this?

i think you are correct- all those sprays can be irritating and besides if it was meant to smell like a flower or a summer breeze it would have been made that way

Yes, douching is bad for you as well as using perfumed sprays & such. You should continue to shower daily, using an anti-bacterial soap like Dial (not just during your menstrual cycle). I recommend using soap daily to avoid bacterial infections from developing like yeast infections or UTI's.

If you need extra freshness, say during the summertime when you sweat more, try sprinkling a little baby powder in your panties. It is natural & will simply absorb the moisture.

Companies just want to make money! Natural is the way to go after showering/bathing daily with soap!
