I have several silent films featuring Charlie Chaplin. Some with Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy in early silent stuff, although not together in some. My oldest clip of film is not a movie, but a live action of some cowboys rounding up steers and crossing a river. It was shot by the Edison Company in 1905.

My fiance (a firefighter) has a collection of fire movies that were made in the 1930s. Next to that my "Wizard of Oz" is the oldest in mine, too!

Battleship Potemkin, 1925. Shows the "glories" of the Red revolution in Russia. This is the first film to show a baby carriage rolling down stairs, not the Untouchables.

Metropolis. An excellent silent movie from 1927 by Fritz Lang. A movie that has had an influence on so many movies over the years.
