I think they can add alot of interest, and provided the person isnt sensitive about it, quite a good thing especially if there is an interesting story that goes with the scar

Scars should not be deemed as either cool nor ugly. They are scars - simple as that. If I see a scar on someones face or anywhere else on their person I am unable to let it detract from that persons own beauty, and I could never see them as membership badge of the cool club.

Scars are not tattoos, you don't get a scar to make other people think you're cool, the whole question is flawed and shallow because this isn't something people do deliberately to impress you or put you off.

scars are something that happen whether people think they are cool or ugly! Its just a fact that people will have accidents and scars are an inevitable part of life

The footballer Franc Ribery has a massive scar on his face....to me this looks very ugly indeed.
Small scars are ok tho

neither, a scar on someones face is just that, a scar.
people who think of things as being cool or un-cool. are the type of people who make peoples lives a misery because they make other people feel like they have to live up to a set of standards.
all people are different. weather your cool or un-cool, just be yourself and be happy being yourself. don't become something your not just to make other people more happy as in the end it will only make you less happy with yourself.

I think there just scars some get them because of medical problems and some get because of other people so I do not think there ugly

i would have thought nither to call some one ugly because they are have scars is cruel and you are probably missing that this person could be beautiful inside if the scar was gotten in a fight and that person braggs about it thats nither cool or ugly the persons just being a twonk

I don't know if you can really classify scars as cool or ugly or anything else?! They are just something else that tells part of that persons life...good or bad! My sister's are from the skin cancer she (hopefully) no longer has-so if we're allowed to classify...I'd say they are beautiful!
