do a good job in following in his character's father's footsteps in portraying the villain, "HobGoblin"?

Well, it could go one of two ways. I don't know the route they are taking in the movie, but in the comics, he went out as the Green Goblin, carrying his father's super-villian name. The hobgoblin was a guy named Jason Macendale. Later, Harry did take the name Hobgoblin, but I think it was when he was transformed by a demon.
Anyway, I think James Franco will be great. I've been a fan of his since "Freaks and Geeks." If you've never seen him in that series, you can get the entire series on DVD for not too much.
Oh, and to answer your new question, yes, I am a dork.

Yes. I enjoy his portarayal of Harry Osborne. It is a dark complex character and he plays it well. You see all the rage in him but still sympathize with him.
I think he is a great actor for the part and I like how his character has developed over the 1st 2 movies to set the stage for the 3rd.

He's a pretty good actor and doing a good job as Harry. The real test is taking on that alter ego role. I think he will do well as was needed by the director to get the job done.

i dont know its hard to say. i dont think he will do it as well, but the movie looks really sweet plus it comes out the day after my bday so i can see it 4 my bday!
