Non-religious? no, there are always some conditions, but sometimes they are very easy conditions... a dog's love is only based on the condition you treat it somewhat ok, but it usually takes at least a little bit in return to receive love... and it's usually worth it... well, frequently.
Sometimes you meet someone that seems to love unconditionally, but if you were to change enough or be completely unwilling to be worth their love, they would stop, eventually... good question. take care.

Only God's love in unconditional. Pets love pretty unconditionally too. But human beings are very conditional when it comes to love. They use it as a controlling device. It's only because they don't want to be tested, but if they withdraw it, then it's a controlling device.

Yes! First and foremost, God's love is unconditional! I also believe my love for my children is unconditional! I love them no matter what. I may not always love what they do or the decisions they make but I ALWAYS love them!
