It depends on your relationship with her and the way you think she will react to the gift. But I personally believe that gifts and concessions will always make a good impression on someone (so long as you aren't being taken advantage of.)

No. I don't see what could be wrong in that.
I mean, I wouldn't buy her anything expensive because then it may look like your trying to get her approval or something (depending on how long you have dated the guy).
If you are very close to her then that's great! Im sure she would appreciate it.

Not at all. It is especially appropriate for birthdays and Christmas, but check with your boyfriend to see if he thinks his mom would have a problem (if you haven't noticed, parent's can be weird). If you out of school or in a serious relationship, I think it is more than fine, especially if you are close or want to be.

Why would it be wrong? The only thing I can think of is you haven't been going out long, then it might be a bit awkward, but not wrong. Also check with him just in case.

Nope, nothing wrong in buying her a present but I think you should first consider the seriousness of your relationship with your bf before you buy her a certain present.

I guess it all depends on your culture and theirs and what kind of gift you have in mind. If its something simple, no big deal. I always try to bring something with me when I see my guys family. It's a courtesy and a sign of respect and appreciation.
