he just broke up with me and i dont want him to think that i am tryin to trap him but he told me to stop takin my birth control a few weeks ago......and now he left me and i dont know what to do? should i just ask him to buy me a pregnancy test or wait until my first doctors appt. then prove it?

I wouldn't say anything to him until you know for sure. You odn't want him to feel trapped, and if you start nagging at him that you MAY be, you'll scare him off even more. And, if he's the kind of guy that would leave you and a baby, then you may not want him around too much anyhow. Get yourself a home test, or to the DR, then go from there.
Most of all, I'd talk to your parents, they are the best people to help you though the difficult times ahead.

I think the ladies here have answered your question very well. I do agree that you should seek some support from your parents and take a home test and see a doctor. This a major responsibility for you and for him if he is in fact a real man who will own up to his actions. I also liked the point made about whether or not this guy would abandon you and the potential baby, decide if he is going to be a a good influence. Communicate with family, friends and your doctor, these people are all there for you.
***** Most importantly be 100% sure that you are before breaking the news. This will possibly be devastating news for him, so be sure about it first. Good luck, and I hope you're not, 19 is too early, you'll have plenty of time for children when you're older.

Actually, go buy your own pregnancy test. If it's positive then you have options.
Option 1 : Raise the baby yourself. This IS 2006 and you are old enough to hold it together on your own. Besides, if it turns out to be a boy, you can make sure it never becomes that bastard.
Option 2 : Ask him if he wants to be apart of the baby's life. If he does, you two don't have to be together to raise the child. That frees him up to still continue dating or whatever it is he wants to do. you can also move on with your life. There are guys out there who will date you even if you have children because they were raised by step moms or dads.
Option 3: If he doesn't want to be apart of the babies life, Then GO AFTER HIM! The bastard talked you into not taking your birth control pills. Then he knocked you up and finally ran off hoping to get away scott free without any responsibility. OH HELL NO! Let his parents know. Tell friends. Report him as a Dead Beat dad and finally take his *** to court and get your Child support from him. If he fails to give you money for any reason what-so-ever, you can have his *** in jail in a heartbeat. Make his life hell.

Hey, I might be pregnant. I'm going to buy some home pregnancy tests and I'm going to see though. Would you like to be there for the test, or do you want me to just call you with the results? I also have an appointment, and they will be able to tell me for certain if I am pregnat.
That would be how I would do it.
He was just your boyfriend and you listened to him about stopping taking birth control? You are in for a bumpy ride for quite some time. You don't just listen to people when they tell you to do something...think for yourself, stop depending on other people. Yeah, you felt wonderful because you thought that meant he loved you and that you two would be together forever, but it was obvious that he didn't really love you because he asked to knock you up and not to marry you.

First of all, you are 19, and legally an adult, so you should take responsibility for your own actions. Just because your boyfriend tells you to stop taking birth control does not mean you should do it. I mean if he asked you to rob a store, would you?
Go to the store and buy a home pregnancy test yourself. Find out if you hav anything to worry about to begin with. If you are pregnant, THEN call him and tell him the situation. Use your familf and friends as supports. Good Luck.

First, you should find out if you are pregnant or not, to avoid all negative feelings from the boyfriend. Then if you are pregnant call him or sit down and talk to hima and tell that you are pregnant and that you need him to be there for you. If he trips give him some time to take it all in and if he still acts an *** hole then just put him on child support.

Take a pregnancy test you can't even buy one of those without him? Don;t ask him for anything..Stand on your own two feet...I would call his mom after I found out for sure and say congrats your a grandma...That'd shut him up...

if i was you i would take a pregnancy test first and when you have the results (pregnant or not) then you can take the test to him to show him and then of you are invite him to your appointments with your ob/gyn and then he can be involved with you and the baby

take the pregnancy test first and if positive you need to tell him but if it is negative then well no sense in him knowing anything!!
