I think I am pregnant with twins, doc has a hard time finding heartbeats, but finds them one at a time at a different rate and rythm, I am getting HUGE without gaining any additional weight and have been feeling movement since 8 weeks. I also have a retrograde uterus that makes my fundus really hard to measure.

It is not impossible to feel movement at 8 weeks especially in a multipara multiple pregnancy, it's just very uncommon. I had an ultrasound very early in the pregnancy to confirm it wasn't ectopic at about 3 weeks. I am also dealing with Army docs and have not seen the same one 2x ,who have to explain everything to the mighty god tricare lol, and I am having an ultrasound next month. I have been sick as a dog the entire time and I am 14 weeks right now, but I was sick the entire time with my son too.

Never had twins... but sounds like you are feeling movement very early. Usually fluttering starts after 16-20 weeks!! Could be a good explanation.

Good luck!!!!

I was horribly sick within a month of getting pregnant. So sick, in fact that I had to get Zofran as a prescription. At 5 months, still feel seasick! And, I was getting big really fast. At my first ultrasound, my doctor asked if twins ran in my history, said that every multiple pregnancy he's seen, they've been really sick. I've heard on yahoo answers that this is not the case.
If your doctor has heard more than one heartbeat, then there's more than one. You should've had an ultrasound by now. As multiple pregnancy is also considered a high risk pregnancy, ultrasounds are done more often. My OB/GYN has one right in his office, so I get one every time I see him (every 2 weeks).
Twins won't have the same heartbeat. They're never simultaneous. My twins are on top of each other, facing each other. We can only hear one of the heartbeats on each visit - which is another reason why I have an ultrasound every visit.
If you're under 12 weeks pregnant, read up on vanishing twin syndrome. Not to scare you, just so you're informed. I thought I had lost one, and cried for a whole month. Turned out my twins were so close together, it was like a mirror image.

Just because your doctor has hard time finding a heart beat and the rythm changes does not mean you are having twins, it happened to me when I was pregnant and I think your full of it because it is impossible to feel any movement at 8 weeks.

I have an aunt who is a OBGYN and know for a fact at 8 weeks you can not feel any movement.

it is hard to assert. I knew i replaced into having twins beforehand I had my 1st ultrasound. I purely had this gut feeling that does no longer pass away. it is why I confident my mum to purchase the cotbed rather of the pram, as i assumed it must be extra attainable to purchase yet another cotbed, than to take decrease back a unmarried buggy for a double. i replaced into correct, yet I also had a similar gut feeling that i ought to have a million of each and every (boy/woman), yet ended up with 2 ladies, so i replaced into incorrect on that account. I had extreme morning disease which did not ease till my sixth month. i finished up dropping 0.5 a stone as I purely couldn't save a ingredient down. yet i did not commence to illustrate till my fifth month, clone of maximum regularly occurring pregnancies. My mum's a twin, so I knew it ran in my family individuals, yet i did not imagine it ought to take position to me! yet something can take position, and on account that your possibilities have better particularly, who knows! solid success to you hun, although the outcome, you'd be purely as chuffed! ;-)
