i am a straight female, so i thought. my new boss looks me in the eye and doesnt let up. she comes over and make up small talk,but i am always the first to look away. one time i looked up and thier she was staring. the funny thing is i am attracted to her. i dont know if it is because she is on the mascaline side. am i reading her body langauge correctly, i mean looking me directly in the eye, like a man does a women. is she coming on too me ? if i look her in the eyes does that mean i letting her know i am interested ?

I think you might be seeing too much in this situation. Regardless, if she is coming on to you or you're attracted to her, it's a bad situation to get involved at work. I would work on smiling and looking at ease in her presence without giving her any indication that she's bothering or intimidating you. Have your boyfriend come get you for lunch and introduce her to him. Just keep clear. When she's staring at you, you can say..."is there anything else?" "do you have another question?" "...I'd love to chat, but I have something I have to finish". And smile like you haven't a clue what she is doing. She's counting on you feeling intimidated by her. Don't let her push your buttons.

If you want to flirt with her, look her in the eyes and smile. My best friend is a lesbian, so I get to hear all of her juicy gossip. And she's had plenty of stories! But yeah, definitely do the staring. And just treat her like you would a guy you are interested in. But also be careful since she's your boss. You could get into trouble for crossing the line if you're wrong about her interest.

just cuz someoene looks directly into ur eyes doesnt mean they are comin on to u. but if ur attracted to her, u mite as well stare rite back lol. but if she does like u, then u 2 are old enough to make mature decisions if u want to pursue somethin or keep it as a just work enviornment.

Look, just treat her like anyone also. She is your boss, she is an adult, and has every right to look you in the eye. Just treat her like a human being and all will be right

She probably is. You looking her in the eye may be telling her that you're interested. If you aren't, just ignore it. The more you make it seem like you aren't interested, the less she'll be.

no...it may mean nothing at all...i beleive that jst the idea is stuck in your head. and once u get an dea like that...ur mind will runaway with it and make u belive something that posiibly may not be tru. plus..isn't it against company rules to date the boss?

not that i know of...when i talk to anyone i look them in the eye..that shows honesty...now if she starts touchin you in weird ways then you need to think it out...If she does advance toward you in that way then it is best you find another job...god bless
