Not only RIGHT NOW, but always, YOU are the most important person you know. I preach that all the time.

Without YOU in your life, involved in your life, enjoying or dealing with your life,,,few others really matter. Not to say that others don't matter in a general sense, but if you can't be who you wish, enjoy who that is, deal with your own issues, detours, and times of fulfillment,,,NOT ONLY won't others be able to do it for you, but will likely be put off by you're feeling of some lack of +
self respect, and self love.

You needn't be selfish about caring about YOU,,,but I promise you this... If you project that sense of self, define self respect that others witness,,, even share joys about levels of importance and SELF worth,,, others will be attracted to that, as opposed to any depressive sense they feel about you.

In very blatant terms, WE live and DIE alone. Others surrounding us are like clothing, food, and shelter, though we may know a deep feeling of love, and connections with them. No matter that however, they cannot live our lives, strictly heal us, or hopefully not die with us. They are the nourishment though,,, that may help sustain us,,, or the opposite, may drain us.

In the case of loving another, for example, Certainly a mate has a level of importance to us. A child is part of us, and has a bond with us, that we forsake many things for, in knowing what joys exist in that bond, but we can't own anyone. We can't define anyone else. We can't govern anyones life but our own, and as such, we should handle our own personal existance as if it was the most valuable "Thing" we will ever experience.

Those that say God I understand but if you look at the question it says person and God is not a person. He or she is much more powerful than that.
The most important person in my life right now and for the last 25 years has been my wife. She cares so much about me and would do anything for me. I just don't know if I can ever repay her for all that she has done and will do for me for the next 25 years of our lives together.

I am! You should ALWAYS be the most important person in your life. No one will care for you like you do. When all is said and done, if you're lucky, you'll end up with a good mate, and a few good friends, but most of the people you spent time with in your life will have moved on. Be true to yourself and happiness will follow.

The most important people in my life are my babies, they are three and almost two and I just couldn't imagine life without them. I love being their mother and that is what I pride myself on the most. My boys have taught me so many things and make each day bright and full of fun. Of course there is never a dull moment with them and they make life much less complicated. When anything starts to go wrong I know that I can depend on them to flash a big dimple filled grin and that makes it all better. Thanks for asking this question. We all need to be grateful for the blessings we have in life and to remember that life is just great through the eyes of a child.

I would have to say my parents (I won't distinguish between my mom and dad because they're both equally important in my life.) They support me, care about me, want to know where I am (that can be annoying sometimes, but that's because they care so much), they respect the choices that I make, and want me to be successful. I measure success in accomplishments and how many moments you take advantage of in your life to make it better. Parents always give you good advice. After all, they've been around longer and know the mistakes they made that they don't want you to make (sometimes they let you make them anyway so you'll learn from them.) There are many other important people in my life, but the most influential people, like I said, is my parents.
