if your talking about a broken car antenna you can use a potato ... thats right a medimum size potato stick it on the stub.. i didnt beleive it also ........ i seen and heard it ...it really works.

another type of antenna ... the home this time is a copper rod,
ground rod , clothes hangers and aluminum foil , * do you have a old mattress box springs ? burn off the fabric use only the springs
attach your wires to sping ..this really works well for am /fm
television , cb radios all purpose attenna

Any conductive metal structure will act as an antenna if attached to the input of a receiving device. It only needs to be the right shape to be efficient!

I spent months in Colchester, Essex, watching BBC2 with a coathanger stuck in the TV antenna hole and the other end taped to the tray out of the oven.

Plain wire, a coat hanger, lamp cord. Just about anythng that is metal.
