It is definitely possible that they could repeat, but they will have a tough road, most of the key people are back, plus Big Ben Roethlisberger will be ready by the start of the season. Roethlisberger must stay healthy because the back-ups are shaky. How much will they miss Bettis' leadership will be a factor as well. Willie Parker and Duce Staley are good backs, and their receiving corp took a hit when Randle El went to the Redskins. Still they have one of the best defense in football, all signs are there for a repeat, but as we all know it's tough to repeat. Last year they were a #6 seed and won the whole thing; this year, they might be the top seed and come up short.
In the end....I say they come up short.
That what makes the New England Patriots run of 3 titles in 4 years remarkable in the age of free agency.

I can see it clearly. The Steelers have a way of putting it all together when it counts. They had some players retire & some go chase the big bucks, but that's the standard for pro sports today. We'll miss Jerome & Kimo & Chris, but we'll replace that other guy (Randel who?) The AFC has got a bunch of great teams, so that will battle test the winner -----Pittsburgh

It's possible, Pittsburgh has a good team but it will not be an easy road by any means. The AFC has probably 6 top quality teams in it, any of which could go to the SB.

Yes. Three things will have to be answered though
1) Can the receivers drafted replace the stats Randal-El put up
2) Can Staley fill the void the Bus left
3) Who takes Hope's space at SS so Polamalu can run all over the field still.
