i don't really think you'll get a definately answer to this... its like asking people who live in england are they BRITISH OR ENGLISH? i would say i am english but something like a bulldog is typically british, but the queen is english it depends on how each person will look at the aspects of the question and how they have been brought up in schools. i would americans are america but speak english american. its like word they have english america and english UK. the language is different as we have differnt words (lift=elevator) etc so i suppose it depends on all above factors really...
