They say americans take a lot more showers than people in other countries so if your from another country please indicate

I am American and I shower every other day...kinda. I shower every day but every other day I put on a shower cap, because my hair is the kind that gets really frizzy with showering every day. I know people who only take showers once every 3 or 4 days....yuck. I hate the idea of sleeping with sweat and dirt all over my body!

This is gonna gross out a lotta folk.
As a truck driver, I typically get 2 showers a week. If I'm lucky, maybe I'll get 3.
We live in our trucks for weeks at a time, and don't always have the opportunity to shower. Many times we have to drive all day and park someplace where no showers are available. Or are just too tired to take the time, because your break is limited to 10 hours and sleep is more important. And sometimes, you have to wait several hours for your turn in a shower. Yes, they have people to clean and disinfect between users.
Add to this that unless you have recently purchased fuel at one of the franchises(truckstop) locations, then you have to pay for the privelage of taking a shower, usually about $9.

I'm American and I take a shower and wash my hair every day. Sometimes, if I'm sick or don't leave the house, I might skip a day, but there's no way I would go a third day without bathing. Yuck! I am not dirty at all, but bacteria and environmental elements such as dust, smog, car exhaust, etc. REQUIRE that you remove them from your skin and hair.

I'm from the U.S.. I take a shower every evening before bed. I also shower after any time I sweat a lot or get dirty. Some people say I'm weird for taking a shower in the evenings, but I just can't stand getting in the bed after sweating under my close all day.

I shower every morning except for weekends.
Weekends I will shower based on whether or not I'm going to be around others. If I know that it's just gonna be wandering around the house, and I've not done anything to really make me dirty, I don't always shower on the weekends.
I typically only bathe when I need to relieve stress, if my legs are sore, if my feet are sore, or if I just get the wild idea to bathe instead of showering.

i live in texas and i take a shower every night before i go to bed. sometimes ill take baths on the weekends to relax. and im sorry for the people in other countries, but i just feel really dirty if i dont shower.

I'm from California, I take 1 shower when I wake up, and I take another shower before sleep to get all the sweat from working out and plus it makes it easier to sleep.

Iowa - I bathe and wash my hair every other day, because my hair gets really dry if I do it more than that. I also don't have a shower in my house and like to save water. I'm also a girl and I don't sweat that much.

I don't take baths because I don't have time for them and I don't really enjoy them anyway. I shower every day and I'm an American.
