1- Julius Ceasar, to see how a great man such as himself really had designs for being a Roman King, like the Senate were so worried about?
2- Steven Hawking, to see how such an incredible man can be so talented despite his case of MND.
3-Billy Connolly, because he is one of my heroes, and he has been through a lot and come out on top despite it all

3 The Greek poet Aristophanes- many o his plays are pure genius, full of sex, escapism and political attack. He could cause a riot with his anti-politician stance.
2 The cyclist Tom Simpson- he was a brilliant cyclist who let drugs and doping kill him. I'd ask some training tips.
1 Ian Curtis, Joy Division's lead singer- he was a genius songwriter and singer, unique in the musical world and an inspiration to me and to many modern bands.

Living people--Derek Jeter, Oprah, Ellen Degeneris (they all have great personalities and would be "fun" to talk with)
Historical figures: Einstein, Freud, Confucius (these are some serious mind expanding choices--who could pass up time with these greats!)

1. Albert Einstein. The man turned our understanding of the universe on its head.
2. Mike Oldfield.
3. Douglas Adams. He was my writing hero. I actually met him, and sadly it wasn't a nice experience. He was offhand and sarcastic.
Maybe the moral of the above is don't meet your heroes!
