I was wondering if anyone had read this book by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Did you love it as much as I did? Did it have any effect on you? I just finished it, and would like to read the other three in the series. Also, did you watch the movie? I watched part of it and shut it off, it most definitely did not do the book justice!

I read the Marion Zimmer Bradley book "The Mists of Avalon" and loved it for so many reasons. I also read one of the other books in the series and enjoyed it as well (my brain isn't on high power today, so forgive me for not knowing what the title is). I watched the movie before reading the novel and I enjoyed it for what it was, a movie based on a decidedly amazing book. Movies are never at the same level as books, they take away our ablity to use our imaginations to bring characters and scenes to life.

wonderful book, lets see i'm not sure of the order the forrest house, mists of avalon, priestess of avalon, ancestors of avalon, i think there's one more but the name escapes me. great sereis, and i picked up the movie in the $5.50 bin at wal mart..........i was robbed!!!! it sucked.

Actually there are a number of books in this series - and they are all great.

I read it and really liked it, but I never saw the movie. Was it a 'real' movie or do you mean the TV one?
