i hav a creative zen nano plus and I LUV IT!! it's great my parent's wouldn't let me get an ipod nano so i got that and it's great there's a difference between nano and nano plus nano plus has radio it's awesome! i think u should get it also u can use like 20 music stores with it o and u can rip music straight from the cd on 2 the player like if ur a t a friends house and u want some of thier songs from a cd if u bring the player and the cable thing u can get it without using a computer cuz i think u hav 2 hav 1 computer 2 do it and u can make voice recordings on it plus it only costs $100 4 a 1 gb unlike the micro which u r better off getting a ipod nano cuz they r the same price i'm not sure if it has all the features like the nano plus either they also hook up 2 logitech speakers and i dogs

Well, you can just rip the CDs to your computer and transfer them.
If you want the line-in recording feature, get a Creative Zen V Plus. It holds 1/2/4GB.
For high storage, get a Cowon iAudio X5.

zen micro has been brilliant for me. It's easy to put cd's straight onto player, will only take minutes!! battery is brilliant so far, sound quality super and although may not look as nice as ipods is way better

creative zen micro photo! it has a removable battery meaning you can replace it when it dies. Practically all other mp3's including ipods have built in batteries. which render the things useless aftre 4-5 years of use when it dies.

Depends on what memory size you want. The creative microphoto is excellent, really compact and has long battery life.

CD's aren't recorded in mp3. They're either CDDA or wmv. They have to be converted to mp3!
