There are places like that all over the world. These are called gravity hills. They are actually optical illusions created by the surrounding terrain that fools our brains into thinking that something is downwards sloping but is actually upwards sloping.

You CAN NOT get away from gravity, no matter what your religious affiliation. There are plenty of places around the world where local topography distorts the horizon sufficiently to make an up slope look like a down slope. Quite well documented phenomena.....
