I was walking alongside the Lake Michigan beachshore yesterday, while the waves were high and fierce. A busty girl wearing a bikini was swimming in the water. She was coming up to wave hello to her friend who just arrived, when the wave caught her bikini top just right, and brought it down to her waist, leaving her boobs hanging out for all to see. It took every ounce of control within me not to laugh at the poor girl (Yes, she was a foxy one in case you're wondering) and I froze in amazement. She actually handled it well, by saying to me, "Bet you weren't expecting a floor show on the beach today were you?" laughed about it, then dove under the water to get her top back on. I've been swimming Lake Michigan for years, and that is the first time I ever saw that happen. Any of you girls brave enough to admit a time it happened to you, and how you handled it?

Yes it has happened to me also more than once.
I've also lost the bikini bottoms while diving into a pool.
While, it is very embarrassing, all you can do when it happens to you is either try to ignore it (which doesn't work), or make a joke out of it.
Making a joke out of it at least breaks the tension you feel when it happens to you.
I can remember one of my comments being "I guess you bring the best out in me"

I also normally swim topless, either in my friends pool or my pool so these days I wouldn't really care. But the first time I went topless was not by choice. I was on holiday with my family and my brother and I went to the beach for the day while Mum and Dad went somewhere else. I was swimming and got dumped by a wave. When I surfaced, my bikini top was gone. Gone completely. My brother and I searched for it for ages but never found it. Neither he nor I had worn a shirt to the beach, so I had no choice but to spend the whole day topless. It was really embarrassing for the first hour or so, and then I started to not care and have fun, and at least I got a good tan.

Yes that happened to me when I was a teenager I popped out of the water and my top didn't, to make matters worse the beach was full of men and I was facing the beach!
I also had a similar experience at the state fair when I was a teenager. I was on this ride and the bar thing that holds you in is like a rectangular shape that goes over your chest. When mine locked in it pulled my shirt and bra down, my bare boob was visible to everyone on the other side of the upside down ride and I was sitting in the front seat which just has plexiglass between you and the ride operators! It was very humiliating, guys on the other side of the ride were giving me the thumbs up! Also because the harness was so tight I couldn't get my shirt back up until the ride was over!

nope. If it did I would probably go all read and dive back under, swim a couple of mile, and come back up on somewhere far from civilisation.
**and for that "proud" person who said they did it perpusly on a nudist beach...Thats what the beaches are for! So um..no congradulations....that would be considered normal.

It happened to me. I just pulled the top back up and kept swimming. I didn't do it on purpose, nature made them, and embarrassment fades.

Lakes have waves? Hmmm....must have boats? Well, no, it has never happened to me,but it sounds like she was a very well adjusted individual, and took the incident in stride.
Wish more people were like that!
