Everyone's saying whatever they want about me, Kevin and Sean. The stuff they say isn't even true. And it's not only me. They do it to everyone else too. All I want is to live my life, live my dream, and be with my family and friends, just like everyone else. What do y'all think? I just want some honest opinions, and I figured this would be the best place to go because everyone seems to be honest, whether brutally or not.

Honestly, I don't know. I mean, some people do it to feel better about themselves, as stated above, and some people do it because that's just what they do. Personally, I don't want anything to do with it. It's unfair and ridiculous. I have the same thing happen to me all the time because people do not understand my religion. Maybe that's the same in your case. Maybe people are spreading rumors and lies about you because they don't really understand you or what you're about. Who knows? I wish they could find something better to do, though. I hope all goes well with you. Maybe everything will die down, and people will realize how foolish it really is. Best of luck to you.

Because some people are just downright cruel and don't have a conscience. I saw a show on Dr. Phil about this same thing and how people spreading rumors actually ruined other peoples lives. I can't recall what his solutions were but in his archives at his website (drphil.com) there may be some good suggestions to deal with this problem.

I'm sorry that you are a victim of rumors. When I was growing up, I would have rather been stabbed with a sharp knife that be a victim of another person's slander. I don't know why people speak poorly about others. It might be that they have a need to talk poorly about you so that they will feel better about themselves. This might be immature to say...but I hope those people that are spreading those rumors about you, wake up tomorrow and find their faces all covered in big shiny pimples.

Mostly jealousy and mental issues. They are insecure and trying to rattle you. Ignore ignorant people. They are trying to psycologically shake you. After a while people will see they are lying and creating drama and then see them for the idiots they are. Be you and dont change or hide for anyone. To give in is to be weak minded.

Personal insecurity. Making someone else seem foolish or small is the only means they have to make themselves feel better.

People who do that are very unhappy in their own lives. So, in order to "feel better" they hurt others. Bullies are usually very sad and miserable people who find pleasure in making others feel as miserable as they are. I'm sorry you and your friends have been on the receiving end. I hope you learn from it and try not to do it to others. God bless!

People enjoy hearing and telling what's wrong with others (they have to add a little to the story as it goes).

Makes em feel superior. They don't think about others feelings and they have no respect for others, mostly it is entertaining to gossip about others.
