It would make the most sense that you leave her. After all, how can you trust her not to do this again? Actually, you said she "IS having an affair..." which makes it sound like it is continuing. So why would you want to stay with someone like that?
Furthermore, women can get pregnant at the age of 40 and beyond nowadays. What if she got pregnant? You know the kid who's mentally handicapped wouldn't be able to take responsibility, so who would it fall to? You. Would you really want to care for another person's son?
It's definitely time to pack it up and move on out (or kick her out).

Is he really retarded? Mentally impaired people are protected at least in TX, so if he is severly impaired then this is against the law.
You should report this action to the police. Unfortunately you will probably not have much luck with out proof. So maybe you could get some of that before you make the allegations.
I wish you luck and am really sorry you are having to deal with this...maybe your confused and it is not really happeing like you think...?

Contact a good divorce attorney. This lady has a huge problem. Its bad enough fooling around with a teenager but a mentally retarded one at that. Your state may have a law covering this one, because of his challenge, hes not responsible for his actions and obvious she took unfair advantage of it, and could be legally responsible for it. Either way you dont need this kind of problem around your son Good luck

You need to search your soul and find out if you can forgive her or not. For me as a woman i feel like this you do not betray your husband for anything once you united in gods eye's she belonged to you and she had no right disrespecting you and betraying you like she has. you deserve someone who truly loves you. You do not lay down with anyone other then your husband no matter what. The greatest gift a woman can give is her mind body and soul and that gift should never be shared with anyone other than the man she is married to.The only reason a woman or man is sorry for cheating is simply because they were caught and they will do it again.

I'd first tell the boy's parents and let them deal with the legalities. Then I'd divorce her quickly. You dont want someone who cheats, but especially not someone who takes advantage of a person who's mentally challenged. She needs help. And you need a real wife.

Walk into your local TV station and tell them your story.
Tell them that what she is doing is immoral and would like to know, if they know who you shouls contact.
She is taking advantage of a mentally handicapped person.
They will give you some suggestions AND air the story on the news! More than likely.
THAT would throw a wrench in her little escapade.

If the kid is mentally ill he needs to be rescued. How dare her take advantage of him.
Contact the authorities and a lawyer to protect yourself and this kid. She may have triggered something now that is irreparable and may be damaging to this kid and any girls around him in the future.
His parents need to be informed and your wife needs to be locked up.
