Most likely this movie will entertain them if they are into ships and some fighting, but if sensetive and get scared easily maybe no then...I dont think it would be scary at all to tell ya the truth it is one good movie...its mostly adult humor so nothing that will scare them or know what is going on...ha ha.
Have fun.

Pirates 2 isn't exactly a movie that is sutible for children at those ages, it's just not something they would know to be fun like maybe a pixar movie with cartoon stuff. Plus there are some pretty interesting characters that aren't exactly friendly looking. You will either find that their attention is on something else or they are completely freaked out at some of the images shown.

It's okay if they see it. It is PG-13 but a mild PG-13, not the near close to R PG-13. Pirates has something for everybody, young and old. I think they would laugh at some of the scenes and jump out of their seats once or twice but not actually be jilted out of scariness. It's fine to take them.

Who cares about your nieces, think about the other people in the theater paying money to have the movie interrupted by 2 screaming brats!

A friend of ours took their 7 year old boy and had to leave part way through. The little boy was scared, he said there were "too many bones."

Do not let your neices see tht movie. it would be OK if they were like around 8 or 9 but mabie just go take them to see Monster House or another kid/family movie. do you have a friend/family member that could chaperone them at the time?

It may depend on how much crap they have in them to begin with, but I wouldn't let them see it. Almost all ghost stories no matter how cartoonish are too intense for the wee little hardies.

There are a lot of...mature parts to it. Try taking them to see another, less scary movie that's actually meant for young children. It's not rated PG-13 for nothing.
