In any monotheistic religion there is only one god. How can any religion claim to be closer to god than another religion. Even atheists love themselves occasionally. Isn't that love that they feel a gift from this almighty god that they don't even believe in? Why then must jewish people oppress palestine and why does the united states take the side of Israel. As the "chosen" people, all that meant was that jewish people were chosing to believe in a god. It does not mean god hand pick these guy's to be extra special and able to do whatever they want, whenever and where ever. So my question is, if the jews and the muslim agree that they all came from the same father, doesn't that make them brother's regardless of who their mother is. It would be like dropping bombs on your sibling because they had a different mother than you, that doesn't make any sense, can you help me out? thanks!

sibling rivalry is not far from the truth
Issaac and Ishmael fought
Jacob and Essau fought

actually Abraham had about 8 children, he was to be named father of nations pural

God told Abraham the promised child would be through Sarah not Hagar

Ishmael through Hagar
Issaac though his original wife Sarah
about 6 more through Ketrura after Sara died

in a sence the promise by faith is though Issaac
and in a sence fullfilled most by faith in the descendant Jesus Christ

but I think the Koran is substantially different than the Old Testament, the stories are pretty differrent and it does not unfold the same way, in fact since it starts with a preamble against idolotry and the first sura about the golden calf and says God does not forgive sinners, it may lend itself to not having a rounded view of God and his mercies as the Old or New testament might

the Koran says God has no children where even Isaiah adresses God as father in one place and Jesus addresses God as father all over the place and in every prayer but one. I'm afraid of the Koran, the Old Testament and the New Testament, the Koran is the most out of kilter with the other three and I do not find it credible as the other two

Jews have a different God than Muslims. The jews have a true God. The Muslims hate all non-believers of their own faith, the so-called infidels. They believe all infidels should be killed and they teach it to their children. Jews love all people. Muslims love only Muslims and want every one else to be killed. The THIRD WORLD WAR is the Muslims against all others. The Muslims will be crushed by the true God now and for all time. The year 2006 and 2007 will be the final years of the misguided Muslims. They will all be destroyed.

Everyone has a right to believe in God, be them Jewish or Arab or whatever nationality they are.

To say " Why did God allow Abraham to have sons that hate each other ? "

The same reason why God allowed Noah to build an ark and destroyed the world by water but saved only some.

They who drowned had a choice to believe or disbelieve Noah and they chose to disbelieve.

The muslims can read the Holy Bible is they wish.
They are free to change their religon if they believe the Holy Bible. They have a choice as much as anyone does.

But God says in His Word that the Jews are special and WHAT the Jews believe is special.

So, here are the half-brothers...just like Cain was...Cain saw that God liked Abel's sacrifice better than Cain's but Cain wouldn't change his attitude and even slew his brother Abel.

WHY? Because they DON'T want to change their beliefs.
They don't want to accept God's Provided Way.

The Bible never speaks of Mohammed and yet, they will follow their traditions and pray to Allah and their prophet, Mohammed.

Do we blame the Jews because God said they were special? No, we should not blame them. We should
look to see WHY they were considered special.

And WHY were they? Because they had the Word of God through Moses and all the Prophets.
They had the Truth of the Old Testament.

It's all about the Muslims not admitting that they have been following a false prophet, Mohammed, all this time and not accepting the True Prophet, Jesus.

When you see that God has a plan in all of this...then you can accept the Plan of God because God knows all things and what's best.

Remember when he called that gentile woman a "dog" ?
She didn't get mad...she accepted it and even said "But even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from the table"

In other words, " I know I'm a dog compared to the Jews, but I will humble myself if You'll just give me a crumb of your Power and Eternal Life and all that You have."

Now, it's as simple as that.
There are wars because they will NOT accept that the Jews have the True Religon as far as the Old Testament is concerned.

Hagar and her child was cast out according to God's instructions.

God knew who would believe Him and who would not.
That's why He had to separate the two children even back then.

Remember Esau and Jacob were fighting even in their mother's womb even before they were born...Why?
Because they had two different beliefs.
And the Bible says that God hated Esau even before he was born...because God knew what Esau had in his heart even before he was born.

So many things don't seem "fair" but that is because
we are looking at the whole picture with our mortal mental
qualifications, but when you see things through God's eyes, then you'll understand more.

And He is the Word, the Old and New Testament, the Holy Bible.

God and Abram were good friends when he lived in Iraq. God told him to go wandering and"everywhere you set you foot, i will give it to you".Abram became know as Abraham and he traveled thru iran, iraq, saudi arabia, syria, turkey, egypt, gaza, and settled in the land now known as Isreal>> GOD chooses to give the 'chosen' status to the children of Isaac, meaning the messiah was to come thru Isaac. Isreal was scattered and jerusalem was destroyed in 72 a.d. , In 1948, after the holocaust, the U.N. ordered the BARREN DESSERT LAND which jews purchased from arabs who didn't live there to be named Isreal.. and was granted nation status.. All the arab nations, and egypt and iran became jelous when they saw the Jews prospering. They tried straight up war and lost, so they turned to lying, terrorising and suicide murdering. At every turn they failed to destroy the jews. They are still consumed with hate, and will be so until Jesus brings thier hatred to an end... Thier god is not the God of Abraham, but it is the god of a pedophylic homicidal maniac named mohammed who wanted to rule the world, and failed..

properly, the modern day hostility between Muslims and Jews is a truly modern occurence. in fact, in the course of the era of the first Caliphate, Muslim and Jewish students labored at the same time to translate a number of the seminal works of historic Rome and Greece into Arabic. Jewish students were pivotal as they were extra knowledgeable about Latin than their Muslim colleagues. in fact the Talmud and the Hadiths were written round this time. The guidelines of both are truly similar. in fact, the Jews contained in the Islamic empire had a truly extra attainable time than their bethren in medieval Europe. lots of the hostility between Muslim and Jews arose over Palestine. it is had to be conscious that even contained in the Koran, TOLERANCE of human beings of the e book is continually emphasised in the course of the Muslim holy e book. in fact, a number of the Prophet Muhammed's earliest allies in Medina even as he fled cutting-edge-day Mecca were Jewish.

It seems to me that you have already made up your mind about what you believe!

The answers that you are seeking can only be found in the Bible. Read the account of the life of Abraham starting in Genesis 12. This should help you in your search for the truth!

Each religion comes from a different brother and those brothers hated each other, a hatred that has been passed on to the current day.

It is war for land and the establishment of a pure Jewish state. It is not about who was descended of who. the Arabs are not Jews and they must leave the Jewish lands or die. Sorry, but this is how land is conquered.

Hate is also natural like any character. The problem was everybody talks about hate between them. let's find something good among them instead of bad. Search and start talking about love between them, at this critical time. I wish to see the first media or journalist who is doing this now!!!...Send them any past story of love existed between them, not once, many times!!

it is nothing to do with religion. Israel was given the best land in the area when the state was founded. Everyone else resents that.
